Ekopak and PUC Komrad Bihać have jointly pooled funds to procure a new vehicle intended for the transport of packaging waste. The new vehicle will enable more efficient collection of plastic, glass, and paper, contributing to a reduction in the amount of municipal waste disposed of at the local landfill and to an increase in the recycling rate.

 

Ekopak has been successfully cooperating with PUC Komrad Bihać for many years, continuously investing in the development of infrastructure for establishing and improving the packaging waste recycling system. Through this partnership, the procurement of containers for separate collection, underground containers, specialized vehicles, a recycling yard, and other equipment necessary for efficient packaging waste management has been financed.

Such joint investments represent an important step toward the development of a sustainable waste management system in this local community.
