In line with its mission to improve the recycling system and protect the environment, Ekopak supported the cleanup and reforestation initiative at Veliko Polje on Mount Igman, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AmCham BiH) in cooperation with Sarajevo-šume.

At the Veliko Polje site, Ekopak participated in clearing the area of waste and planting tree seedlings. The goal of the initiative was to raise awareness about the importance of forest preservation, proper waste disposal, and joint action in protecting natural resources. Ekopak provided yellow bags for collecting packaging waste and black bags for other types of waste, while Ekopak’s partner, KJKP Rad Sarajevo, collected and disposed of the gathered waste at the end of the event.

As a member of AmCham BiH, Ekopak regularly supports their initiatives that contribute to sustainable development and responsible waste management.
