As part of this process, a new vehicle for transporting packaging waste with co-financing from Ekopak has been procured.

In addition to the vehicle, new containers for collecting glass packaging waste have also been acquired, further enhancing the infrastructure for proper waste sorting in this municipality.

Although one of the smaller utility companies within the Ekopak system, PUC Vilenica Čistoća leads in the amount of packaging waste collected and delivered to the Ekopak system each year. This achievement demonstrates a high level of commitment to developing a sustainable packaging waste collection and recycling system in the Municipality of Novi Travnik.

Ekopak continues to support local communities and utility companies in strengthening their recycling capacities to divert as much packaging waste as possible from municipal waste to the recycling process, contributing to reducing packaging waste in landfills and protecting natural resources.
