The handover was attended by David Badower from the Diplomatic Bazaar Organizing Committee, Admir Turkušić, representative of TOMRA, Mirza Ramić, representative of KJKP Rad Sarajevo, and Amela Hrbat, director of Ekopak. A total of 1,080 PET bottles and cans were collected, and Ekopak will ensure transportation for recycling.

On that occasion, the handover of packaging waste collected during the Youth Film Festival (OFF) was also carried out. On behalf of the festival, the packaging was handed over by director Kenan Musić.

All packaging waste will be prepared for recycling by KJKP Rad Sarajevo at the Smiljevići sorting plant, while Ekopak, in cooperation will ensure that the waste is sent for recycling.

We are particularly pleased that organizers of large events are increasingly choosing to recycle packaging waste rather than dispose of it as municipal waste. We are proud that they recognize Ekopak as a reliable partner in implementing these initiatives, supporting sustainability and environmental protection through responsible packaging waste management.
