These patrols had a dual role: collecting packaging waste from visitors and educating citizens about the importance of recycling.

The eco-patrols, equipped with special containers for packaging waste, moved through the city streets, and passersby enthusiastically approached them, handing over waste and asking questions about recycling and its importance for environmental preservation.

"All the collected packaging waste by the eco-patrols was deposited in appropriate containers, from where it was further transported for recycling," stated Ekopak, emphasizing that such initiatives are crucial for raising awareness about responsible waste management.

This activity, in addition to contributing to the festival's cleanliness, had a significant educational impact and once again demonstrated the importance of joint efforts in environmental preservation. Ekopak continues with similar activities, aiming to create more sustainable communities and promote recycling in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
