Ekopak delivers educational calendars to schools across Bosnia and Herzegovina
Last week, Ekopak delivered educational calendars for the year 2024 to primary schools in 13 local communities with which we have established partnerships. These communities include Gračanica, Vitez, Travnik, Novi Travnik, Bihać, Ključ, Olovo, Kreševo, Kiseljak, Sarajevo, Prozor-Rama, Konjic, and Tomislavgrad. The calendars will be placed in classrooms and serve as a daily reminder to students about the importance of proper disposal of packaging waste, in line with the slogan 'Recycling is not a hassle.'
This initiative is part of Ekopak's broader partnership with local communities, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and promote sustainable practices within communities. Preschool and school-age children are a crucial group in establishing the system, as experiences in Europe have shown that this is an area where children educate their parents on how to handle waste correctly. Therefore, Ekopak has placed a significant emphasis on the youngest members of the community, and the distribution of calendars is just one of many activities in this regard.
