In accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on criteria for calculation and method of payment of fees for products that become after use packaging waste and electronic and electronic waste, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 357th session held on 06.04.2023. adopted the Decision on the establishment of a Coordinating Body for monitoring the implementation of the Rulebook on Packaging and Packaging Waste Management.

The news is that in addition to the representatives of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs, FBiH Environmental Protection Fund and authorized operators of the packaging and packaging waste management system a representative of the Federal Ministry of Finance will also be included in this body.

The coordinating body will consider the progress of the packaging waste management system, investment in the development of sorting and recycling systems, financial reports of system operators and the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs and the FB&H Environmental Protection Fund. Through the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, the coordinating body will submit annual reports to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the activities carried out.
