The Government of Sarajevo Canton and the Ministry of Communal Economy, Physical Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton in cooperation with the utility companies PUC "RAD" d.o.o. Sarajevo and PUC “PARK” Sarajevo and other project partners - ZEOS eco-system, Ekopak and NGO Prljavi grad Sarajevo are organizing a spring action of cleaning and improving separate waste collection called "CLEAN - RECYCLE".

The action starts on April 9, 2022. in the Municipality of Stari Grad and will last until 27.05.2022. It is planned that 7 days will be set aside for each municipality in the Sarajevo Canton. In addition to regular activities on the removal of bulky waste, cleaning and arranging public areas in cooperation with partners Ekopak and Zeos, education of the population on the proper disposal of recyclable raw materials and electronic, electrical waste will be also organized.

PUC “PARK” d.o.o. as part of this project, in addition to regular activities on landscaping, will also decorate schoolyards in two primary or secondary schools. PUC "RAD" d.o.o. according to the schedule set for the municipalities, with partners Ekopak and Zeos, will set up green bell containers at four locations where citizens will be able to dispose glass packaging waste and learn about proper waste disposal and collect electronic and electrical waste using a mobile recycling yard.
