The Municipality of Ilidža is one of the four local communities in BiH selected within the project "Management of glass packaging in the Western Balkans" implemented by the company Ekopak in cooperation with KJKP "Park" and the German Organization for International Cooperation - GIZ.

As envisaged by the project, 50 containers for glass waste should be installed on the territory of the municipality of Ilidža. The project aims to improve the framework conditions for establishing an economic value chain for glass recycling in the Western Balkans. The project will be accompanied by an educational campaign intended for all citizens and institutions and should also strengthen environmental awareness.
