Ekopak supported important activity in regard to collecting and recycling of glass packaging waste. This time we provided support to our partner, Public Waste Management Utility Company "Vilenica-Čistoća" from Novi Travnik, in their efforts to carry out public action for glass packaging waste collection and recycling in their municipality.

This activity under a public call to citizents "DO NOT HESITATE- SEPARATE" will be carried out from May to June 2020. by Vilenca-Čistoća in cooperation with Ekopak and the municipality of Novi Travnik. Containers with a volume of 5 m3 will be placed at 24 planned locations in which residents will be able to dispose their glass packaging.

We invite all residents of Novi Travnik to respond to this call and take part in activity by sorting all of their glass bottles and jars, that they keep in their pantries and cellars and no longer wish to use, and bring them to the locations for recycling according to the dates specified in the Collection Plan.

According to our records from the Report for 2019, Public Waste Managment Utility Company "Vilenica-Čistoća" is the best in the Central Bosnia area in terms of glass collected amount for 2019. Ekopak therefore gives full support to the management and workers of this utility company to reduce the amount of municipal waste that is disposed of at the Mošćanica landfill and to place larger amounts of packaging waste into recycling system as possible.
