In the period from August 26th to 30th, a creative workshop as a part of the project „Waste is Taste“ was held, where young designers worked on the fashion designers made from packaging waste.

 

 The host of the project was Association „MLAZ“, whereas the creative partner of the procjest was Artists Association „Bellarte“. General partner of the project „Waste is Taste“ was Ekopak. Packaging waste, waste material and other non-biodegradable pieces have gotten a new form and have been transformed into creations and costumes in an unusual was were presented as high fashion ideas.

Pieces created within the workshop were presented on an exhibition in Počitelj on August 30th in an open gallery of the Association „MLAZ“. Designers: Katarina Bogdanović (Beograd), Jasminka Hadžimehmedović (Sarajevo), Ivana Lazarević (Beograd), Merima Mujkanović (Zenica) and Nevena Nikolić (Sarajevo) presented their works. Special guest of the workshop was product designer and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo Salih Teskeredžić who was at disposal to the participants in their creative process, and the team leader was Jasminka Hadžimehmedović.
