,,Today we are going to present the biggest global program inside of education for environmental protection – the ,,Eco-schools.’’ We have invited representatives of round schools and local communities to meet them with the project, that is what the project offers, what are its components, and how can be accessed After this seminar we will announce an official call for registration, by which schools will have a chance to apply for this program. After that they will get a guide containing methodology, with mentorship of Munja incubators,’’ said Jan Kulenović, the director of Incubators of social innovations MUNJA, and added that implementation of program will last two years, and that the schools, in order to get prestigious green flags and formal international status of Eco-school, will need to realize methodology in seven steps, according to individual plan and mentorship of incubators MUNJA.

It should be mentioned that last year the Munja Incubator has become a part of the biggest network for education in the field of environmental protection (FEE), thanks to initiative and support of Ekopak company.

‘’In cooperation with its partners from Europe, Ekopak helped last year to ‘’Munja Inkubator’’ become a part of FEE network, and realizations of project Eco-shools in BiH was charged into commission to them. This project has a huge significance for development of system for selective delay and package material waste recycling, because it encourages school children, school staff, and local communities to implement in schools and develop conscious about importance of recycling and environmental protection in general, through internationally implemented standards. Today’s info seminar is the first in row, since the project is of long-term type, and will continue in years that follow. We hope that the majority of schools in BiH will answer our call, and that all relevant state and local institutions, as well as companies from effective sector which have developed concept of socially responsible business, will help us in realization,’’ said Eldin Šabata, professional cooperator for sale in Ekopak.
