Mostar, 22.04.2018. - The Earth Day is celebrated annually on 22 April and marks the anniversary of the birth of a modern eco-movement. Celebration was introduced in 1970, after the first mass protests which are organized because of the rise in global pollution. The aim of the celebration is to raise the awareness of the population on the importance of environmental protection and the creation of a sustainable ecosystem for future generations, with emphasis on education for the youngest.

Ekopak today organized an interactive workshop for the children in Mostar, together with partners Duga Biograci and Mepas Mall. Through play and entertainment, Zekopak and Maya Bee taught children how to sort and recycle packaging waste. Mini-competitions were organized, and children were rewarded with t-shirts.
