Ekopak and Kemis signed a contract on establishing a packaging waste management system of the packaging waste containing or being contaminated with hazardous materials
In Sarajevo, on Wednesday, July 3rd 2013, Ekopak and Kemis organized an official meeting for signing a contract on establishing a packaging waste management system of the packaging waste containing or being contaminated with hazardous materials.
On behalf of Kemis Mr. Maid Hadžimujić, the general director of Kemis, and on behalf of Ekopak, Mrs. Amela Hrbat, the general director of Ekopak signed the contract.
In accordance with the Amandments to the Ordinance on Packaging
and Packaging Waste Management that was brought into force on April 10, 2013 in
the Official Journal no. 28/13, all economic subjects involved in placing hazardous
materials on the market are obligated to join the waste management system.
On this occasion, Ekopak, cordially invites all importers of
chemicals, plant care chemicals, motor oils and other petroleum products, concentrated
abstergents, construction and all other types of chemicals, paints and
varnishes and such, to join the system through Ekopak, nevertheless, the
cooperation with Kemis is a guaranty that such packaging waste will be handled
and recoverd in the most legitimate way.
