Novi Travnik, 09.04.2018. - As part of the project "The Smile of the Planets is in your hands", which is being implemented in this and next month, by the Municipality of Novi Travnik, PUC Vilenica Cistoca and Ekopak, the special interactive workshops for kindergartens also begun.

In the past week, the kids from PUC "Gradski vrtic", PUC Kindergarden"Vitez", "Andjeli", "Sultan Fatih", had series of interactive games in order to learn about recycling and how to recycle packaging waste. Puppet show was also shown, and through interaction with Bee Maya, the children got acquainted with the importance of proper disposal of packaging waste. There was also the inevitable mascot Zekopak, which animated the children with dance and play.

The goal of education is to raise public awareness among the youngest population, who will, in accordance with European practices, further educate their parents how to treat waste properly, in order to increase the amount of packaging waste collected in this municipality.

Municipality of Novi Travnik is one of the municipalities where Ekopak cooperates on improving the system of separate disposal and recycling of packaging waste.

The final manifestation of project is planned for 5 June - the World Environmental Day, when the winners will be announced and awarded with symbolic prizes.
