Sarajevo, March 22, 2018 - On the occasion of celebrating the World Water Day, in the Youth Center Grbavica was held the final event as part of the project "Convert the Waste into a Useful Thing". The project was implemented by the "Aarhus Center B&H" in cooperation with the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Canton Sarajevo and Ekopak.

Within the project, the pupils of Elementary schools "Grbavica 1" and "Grbavica 2", performed the puppet show on how to reduce the amount of waste, properly sort and recycle waste to protect the environment.

At the end of the event, it was held an exhibition of works made by pupils which are made of waste - plastic, cardboard, textiles, to show how waste could be reused. The most successful pupils who received the symbolic prizes for their works are:

1st place: Noa Bilalagic, Elementary School "Grbavica I" and Ema Mujkic, Elementary School "Grbavica II"

2nd place: Resul Loncarevic, Elementary School "Grbavica I"

3rd place: Dzenan Kucevic, Elementary School "Grbavica I" and Nejla Ali, Elementary School "Grbavica I".
