Novi Travik, March 20, 2018 - The educative project "The Planet's Smile is in Your Hands" will be implemented in April and May this year by Municipality of Novi Travnik, PUC "Vilenica Cistoca" and Ekopak, in all six primary schools in this municipality.

In order to prepare the Project, in the Municipality of Novi Travnik was held the workshop for teaching staff of schools who will implement it. On behalf of Ekopak, Rijad Tikvesa from Eko Tim Sarajevo led the training. After the presentation, the manager of PUC Vilenica Cistoca - Svjetlana Tokalic and the manager of Ekopak - Amela Hrbat, responded to questions of attenders.

The final manifestation is planned for June 6 - World Environmental Day when it will be held the ceremony of announcement for the bests, who will be awarded with symbolic prizes. Within the project, the special interactive workshops for children from municipality's kindergartens are also prepared.

The goal of  education is to raise public awareness among the youngest population, who will, in accordance with European practices, further educate their parents how to dispose waste properly, in order to increase the amount of packaging waste collected in this municipality.

Municipality of Novi Travnik is one of the municipalities where Ekopak collaborates on improving the system of separate disposal and recycling of packaging waste.
