Representatives of local authorities and companies who place products in packaging at the market attended the workshop: "Solid Waste Management and Establishment of System of Packaging and Packaging Waste Management in FB&H". 

The workshop was organized by Chamber of Commerce of Bosansko-podrinjski Canton and Ekopak, in Goražde Municipality. Except local companies’ representatives, the representatives of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, Ministry of Urban Development and Environment of Bosansko-podrinjski Canton and representativesof Goražde Municipality also attended the workshop.

Mr. Mladen Rudež, Assistant to the Minister of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, presented a Plan of closing the municipal landfills in FB&H and to use waste as material and energy.

Mr. Josip Dolušić, Adviser to the Minister of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, also addressed to the attenders and answered many questions.

Among others topics, Ekopak’s representatives presented benefits of using "Green Dot" symbol on packaging since Ekopak is the only authorized organization to give rights for its usage for the market of  Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On this occasion our clients Unis Ginex, MPI Mlin Ustikolina, Muris Company and SPK Emina aworded certificates for "Green Dot" usage which they acquired by entering in system of Ekopak, proveing thet thay financially contribute establishment of a sustainable system for the collection and recycling of packaging waste, according to highest European standards.
