Last Saturday, July 19th 2014 in Mostar, with the performance of the Artist Association „Bellarte“ , costumes and fashion designs made of packaging waste and other materials were presented. The designs were created at the „Waste is Taste“ workshop in the Association for the promotion of cultural creativity „Mlaz“ in Počitelj.

The main objective of the performance is to give new value to the packaging waste and materials that would otherwise end up on landfills by transforming them to costumes and high fashion designs. That way, „Bellarte“, „Mlaz“ and Ekopak  are raising awareness about the different ways of packaging waste reuse and recovery.

Ekopk, as a friend of the „Waste is Taste“  project, provided waste bins for separate collection of packaging waste.  That way visitors had the opportunity to properly dispose their packaging waste, which will be prepared and handed to recycling by Ekopaks collector „Duga“ ltd.
