Final quiz held in the Kladanj municipality within the "Planet's Smile is in Your Hands" educational project
Within the "Planet's Smile is in Your Hands" project in the Kladanj municipality, educational workshops on the separate packaging waste disposal and recycling were successfully realized iz three schools and their branch schools in the Kladanj municipality namely, Primary School Kladanj, Primary School Stupari and Highschool center "Musa Ćazim Ćatić" - Kladanj.
In February 2014, Ekopak has initiated a long-term cooperation with the Kladanj municipality and the Public Utility Service Company "Komunalac" with the goal to establish the system of separate packaging waste collecting and preparing for recycling. Along with cofunding of the waste collecting vehicles and funding for the purpose-specific bins for the eco-islands, Ekopak is conducting educational activities in order for the Kladanj citizens to accept the new way of packaging waste management. This way, the Kladanj municipality is one of the firsts municipalities of the FBiH in which Ekopak is building the system modeled by the countries of the region and Europe.
By the quiz finale, the first phase of the „Planet's Smile is in Your Hands“ project was completed, the project which was implemented in the period from March-April 2014 by Ekopak supported by the Kladanj Municipality and Komunalac. Around 400 pupils participated in the project, and the main objective of the project is creating habits with the young and providing conditions so that the separate packaging waste disposal becomes everyday lifestyle, and a new culture of living in the future.
In the "Planet's Smile is in Your Hands" quiz finale, 40 pupils participated, and the best knowledge about the separate packaging waste disposal and recycling showed -
in the primary schools category:

- Adnan Mešanović, and
in the secondary schools category:
- Nejra Rustemović,
- Mevludina Berković,
- Edin Krekić.
Ekopak has prepared valuable prizes for the quiz winners for the best three. Along with that, Ekopak donated purpose-specific sets of packaging waste disposal bins in adequate colors for separate packaging waste disposal so that the students have an opportunity to practice what they have learned on the Ekopak workshops. All students who participated at the educational part of the project received acknowledgments, and the winners also received certificates.
